Professor Suto has also been participating in research of Akoris in Middle Egypt since 1997 and has taken charge of researching excavated Greek articles from the Hellenistic period. He is now interested in the reconstruction of the dynamic cultural exchange in the eastern Mediterranean area beyond what is considered the traditional framework of "Greece."
