Born in 1959. Master's Degree from Nagoya University, Graduate School of Letters (1983, English Literature); Participation in Doctoral Program at Nagoya University, Graduate School of Letters (1984, English Literature); Assistant Professor at Nagoya University, School of Letters (1998); Assistant Professor at Nagoya University, Graduate School of Letters (2000)
Professor Takikawa has been working on early modern English literature with an emphasis on analyzing Shakespearian dramas from a historical standpoint.
He brings forth the structural layers of literary text from a multilateral viewpoint.
