Yoshida Jun
Professor Master's (Literature)

Born in 1960. Bachelor's Degree from the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Letters (1983, Chinese Philosophy); Master's Degree from the University of Tokyo, Graduate School of Humanities and Sociology (1985, Chinese Philosophy); Assistant at the University of Tokyo, Institute of Oriental Culture (1985); Instructor (1990) and Assistant Professor (1992) at Nagoya University, School of Letters; Assistant Professor at Nagoya University, Graduate School of Letters (2000)
Yoshida believes that the true pleasure of studying classics is to know and understand the ancients through an examination of old books and documents. His goal is to fully understand Ching Dynasty documents through biographical studies completed by past researchers.
Backed by his belief that an important aspect in education is the process, not the result, Yoshida provides students with finely customized instruction tailored to their backgrounds and qualifications.
